3 Words Needed!

Standard

Here is your chance to get in on the fun.   Just 3 words.  Give me 3 words and I’ll write one short story using them.   You can give me new words by leaving a comment here .   Check my “About” page to see how I use them.   Keep an eye out to see if I pick your words.   Subscribe so that you won’t miss it!

If there are no messages any given day I will provide my own or ask friends to step up (but it’s a lot more fun if you do it).

  1. This is really cool. Makes me want to try it. I think the challenge here is to come up with words that have no apparent connection and that I have no preconceived story in mind that contains them. Here are my words:

    Book, tall, attic

Awesome words Angus! I am already getting some great little story stirrings up in my dusty attic of a head!

    • Angus, your story is ready… “Remember to Live.” ~ Goethe ~ Enjoy…and Nelle, you suggested I try to do something a little bit longer…this one is almost 2000 words so
      whoop there it is. Hehe.

    • Love those words! I’m behind here, lost power this weekend and haven’t written a thing. I guess we all have those days.
The owl and cathedral are already bringing an idea to mind. It may be next week before I get to these, I have 3 sets to
work on now but will get to yours soon!

  2. Hmmm, this is a very interesting and new idea. I’ll pick items that I like: elephant, book, chocolate

Caroline, your story is ready…okay it’s a poem. It’s called “An Amorous Suitor.” The words just struck my funny bone and well, it just came out that way. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

  3. Neeks thanks for commenting on my blog! I find yours very inspiring, I used the 3 word idea to write a short poem (poetry isn’t my thing so it’s quite slight!) and will use it again.

Kind of cool, huh? I’m having fun with it 🙂 If you post your poem on your blog and then post a link to it here, we can all go see!
